I was trying to set email up for someone remotely today only to discover that Rogers has had the “create new account” option removed from rogers.blackberry.com as i was somewhat confused i checked bell and telus and the option was still present on both of those pages. I called rogers only to be told that the option had been removed September 1 as it had caused to many tech support calls as people on the “consumer level” couldn’t remember usernames and passwords.
I am extremely disappointed with this decision as trying to walk a new user through setting email up on a device can many times be challenging but setting it up through the web is simple and straightforward.
