So here’s the deal. I’m curious. Recently a bunch of OS updates came out for the 8520. AT&T released 5.0.0.822 this past Saturday, and I upgraded on that day.
Before I upgraded, I used to brick my phone constantly. Every time I did a battery pull I’d sit there staring at the screen, just WAITING for that “reload software: 522″ message to pop up. I’d have to reload the OS, restore my phone, yadda yadda.
Now, with OS 5, I have run all these days with absolutely no errors and absolutely NO bricking. Things that used to cripple my phone are no sweat now.
Has anyone else had any experience like this? Constant annoying problems being wonderfully fixed by the upgrade?
